Quality

The synergy between the following three elements: system, machines, and infrastructure, has prepared our factory for the future in regard to the increasingly stricter food safety legislation and the ever rising quality demands of our customers. We are always a step ahead on that concern to the progressive number of regulations and standards of all kinds of quality issues.

As a young frozen vegetables producer, we have pride of being pioneers in regard to quality technical support and the offer of wide range of high quality solutions to our clients. Our constant commitment to improvement and innovation means that we will be able to maintain this position in the future.

Infra-Structure

Dardico has a great advantage in its production process, which consists on a continuous cold chain. Both processes, frozen process and packing process, are completely automatic. The output of the freezer tunnel is in the cold store (-21°C) and the input of the packing lines is also in the cold store (-21°C). This way, is avoided any possibility of temperature variations of the frozen product.

Our group follows an investment politic targeted to quality. Thanks to completely separated areas there is no risk for cross contamination. High low risk areas are completely separated.

To reach the highest quality level, the product in its process must pass in several quality check points. To ensure this, we have three kinds of labs, located in different areas. On them, are made physical, chemical, microbiologic and organological tests, where the most modern methods are being used.

Quality assurance system and traceability

Our quality system made also possible the implementation of the HACCP system and the certification of ISO 9001 and BRC demanding standards.

With perfect computerized traceability system, based on bar codes, is possible, on every single pack, tracing the product along the whole production process since the origin of the product in the field.

The field department gives all the necessary support to the farmers as follows:

1. The chemical composition of the fields is checked.
2. The choice of seeds and its varieties
3. The total follows up of the plants and harvest
4. Support on the application of right fertilizers and pesticides products.

After the harvest, has been done, the fresh product immediately processed, to preserve its natural flavor, color and nutritional value.

Machines

Several sophisticated control machines, such as scan lasers, cameras... are used to improve the quality of the final product itself, to ensure that there are no foreign bodies of any kind which could be a threat to consumer safety.

Packing

Due to semi automated and 9 fully automated packing lines, our group has a highly productive trump at his disposal. This allow us to give important quality guaranties to our customers. The sweeping automation adjusts, after each run, all the machines to the specific needs of following product to avoid all possibilities to make mistakes. An automated registration responds to our demands on complete traceability.
